About me

I'm a small town, country girl at heart, born and raised in rural Utah without any neighbors, who now embraces the many conveniences of city life and suburban living. I love details and the little things: sunsets, butterflies, blossoms, wool socks, a pretty path, a good story, a great song, mint and chocolate anything... I'm also a mom to four intelligent, creative, talented people, a mother-in-law to one special, thoughtful lady, and a wife to one larger-than-life man who is my biggest cheerleader. I have loved photography for as long as I can remember, trying my hand at it as a little girl in 4H, then photo journaling my way through motherhood and life. The last few years my photo love has expanded as I've been learning and practicing portrait photography. I'm a natural light photographer who loves to work outside in our beautiful, vibrant, varied world.
